Can we earn income from our holiday home?
Parkdean has an excellent managed sub-hire system in operation dealing with all aspects of hiring on your behalf. However, if you wish to let out privately, you are free do so.

How much are the holiday homes?
A pre-owned holiday home usually starts from around £17,995, although the prices do vary from park to park. There is a wide range of holiday home to suit all tastes and budgets. The latest models can be up to 16ft wide and can now offer central heating and double glazing.

What are the annual running costs?
Wherever you choose to have a holiday home there will always be annual running costs. These will include site fees, insurance, local authority rates and safety tests. Parkdean aims to keep these as low as possible and you can expect the average annual running costs to be around £3,000.

Is buying a holiday home a good investment?
A holiday home should be viewed as a good investment in your free time but not as a financial investment.

How long can we keep out holiday home on the park?
Parkdean are members of the National Caravan Council and the British Holiday & Home Parks Association so you can be rest assured that an established code of practice is in place.

Do we have to find our own finance?
Parkdean has an association with Black Horse Finance (part of Lloyds TSB group) and the Bank of Scotland. They are both happy to provide you with very competitive quotes upon request. Parkdean also offers a low deposit scheme.

Does our holiday home come with a warranty?
All new holiday homes come with a manufacturer's warranty covering a period of 12 months. Your holiday home is to be used for holiday accommodation only and never as a permanent residence.
