Explore the local area
Looe Bay sits at the heart of glorious South East Cornwall – where life feels that much better. Close to pretty fishing villages and surrounded by scenic countryside, tales of smugglers and shipwrecks can still be heard here.
This stunning part of Cornwall truly reflects the best the county has to offer, where pastel cottages slope down towards picturesque harbours.
Scenery and more
The park is nearby the lovely village of Looe, most recently known for appearing on ITV drama Echo Beach. In medieval times Looe was known as two towns on opposite banks of the River; East Looe and West Looe.
Now what used to be East Looe includes the fishing harbour, main shopping centre and a sandy beach, while West Looe boasts shops, restaurants and hotels. The two towns are now united thanks to a bridge which crosses the River.
What a stunning base from which to explore Cornwall and South East England!
Head out to Bodmin Moor and spend an invigorating afternoon roaming the landscape, or take off to Eden Project for a day of sheer amazement.
How about a visit to Crealy Adventure Park, where the whole family can let their hair down and have a scream on one of the many family rides there. But for a real adventure why not head down to Lands End, Britain's most southerly point?
Stunning Cornwall
Being on the coast, the area is great for all kinds of fishing and water sports activities and you're sure to find a stunning beach without travelling too far. Cornwall is a real surfer’s paradise. With so much to do, you can spend your days travelling, exploring or just soaking up the atmosphere. The choice is yours. One thing is for certain, Looe Bay is the perfect place to own your very own holiday home.
