Southerness Lighthouse was built in 1749 and one of the oldest lighthouses in Scotland. You won't find it still working though, it was decommissioned in the 1930s.
There are three National Scenic Areas in Dumfries & Galloway providing many fantastic scenic walks. They are Nith Estuary, East Stewartry and Fleet Valley. Take your pick!
