Did you know?

Bridport is a Beacon Town known for promoting the high quality and variety of local food. Street markets are held every Wednesday and Saturday is this historic market town.

A known fishing town, visitors to West Bay can take day trips to catch mackerel. A perfect trip to make with the family - and then dinner is sorted too!

West Bay is a bit of a screen star and was the scene for the opening shot of BBC drama The Life and Times of Reginald Perrin and the 1950s film The Navy Lark.

The Jurassic Coast consists of Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous cliffs, spanning the Mesozoic Era, documenting 180 million years of geological history. You can see all this for yourself and walk the entire length of it along the South West Coast Path.

There are no less than 36 beaches in Dorset, making it an ideal location to own a family holiday home. You could visit a different beach every other week!
