Explore the local area
If you love the great outdoors - Grannie's Heilan' Hame is the perfect location to own a holiday home. The Park's unusual name comes from a song composed by a homesick Scot who missed the scenic beauty of his beloved Highlands and his grandmother lived in the house that now forms part of the pub at Grannies.
Stories abound that she still roams the house at night! The magnificent beachside setting with stunning views over the Dornoch Firth and miles of un-spoilt sandy beaches clearly left a lasting impression!
It's the ideal base from which to enjoy long tranquil walks and to explore the many local picturesque villages and the spectacular Dornoch Firth. The Royal Burgh of Dornoch with its Cathedral and Heritage Centre is just a short drive away.
Or how about a family day out to visit John O'Groats, Britain's most northerly point, Dunrobin Castle, Loch Fleet Nature Reserve or indulge in a 'wee dram' at the Glenmorangie Distillery.
Near the water...
Being on the coast, the area is great for all kinds of fishing and watersports and golfers of all ages and experience will be spoilt for choice with four fabulous courses nearby, including the world renowned Royal Dornoch Golf Club.
On days when you feel like a return to city life, Inverness with its great shopping, dining, theatre and cinemas is only a 60 minute drive away.
One things for certain, Grannie's Heilan' Hame Holiday Park is the perfect place to own your very own Holiday Home.
